In April 2018, as a project manager, I participated in the construction of an information system with a structured electronic medical record as the core of a tertiary hospital. The total investment of the project is 5.25 million yuan, and the construction period is half a year. The project is mainly software, mainly including CDR data integration platform, doctor electronic medical record, nursing electronic medical record and electronic medical record uploading provincial platform interface, mobile nursing and mobile medical. Through the construction of the project, the hospital has greatly improved the level of medical information. The project has many modules, involving many departments and personnel. The system has more interfaces and data intersections with hospital HIS, LIS, PACS and other systems. In order to implement the project in an orderly manner, the scope management of the project is particularly important. On the basis of fully analyzing the characteristics of the project, combined with practice, in the project scope management process, through the strengthening of scope planning, scope definition, creation of WBS, scope confirmation and scope control management, effectively prevented in the project implementation process. The scope spread and the project was successfully completed. The project passed the acceptance test in October 2018 and was well received by the hospital.
